Proverb 4 by Iñígo López de Mendoza y de la Vega

Howe many have I seene,
by love advaunced hye?
But many more I have beheld
cast downe for tyranny.
For vertuous minds in bondage brought,
will slacke no time, but trie
By all the force and meanes they can,
to come to libertie.
